In this study, the Cr(VI) adsorption on modified polyaniline materials (MPM) was investigated. The MPM was produced by polymerization of aniline in IM H₂SO₄ solution with the presence of activated tea residue. The tea residue samples have been activated by 0.5 KOH or H₃PO₄(85 %) solution. The absorption of the Cr(VI) ions on the MPM was studied in this paperby means of infrared (IR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic adsorption spectrometer (AAS) in order to get a reliminary assessment of Cr(VI) adsorption efficiency. The experiment results shown that the applied MPM has good Cr(VI) adsorption capacity, the appropriate pH range for the adsorption process is 5.5+7.5. The MPM after synthesis process is stable and easy to store and to apply for treatment of heavy metals in waste water.vi_VN
