Abstract: In Vietnam, Heron’s the problem of the light ray was the problem which was mentioned in Textbook “Hinh Hoc 11” (Geometry 11, 2007). In order to solve this problem, the teacher often guided his students to apply the properties of symmetry respect to a line. In the study, with the help of dynamic software GeoGebra and the teacher, students made conjectures and discovered two strategies for solving the problem by data obtained from experiment.
