Abstract

Career guidance education plays an important role in helping students have basic professional knowledge and choose a career in accordance with then competence and the need of human resources of the society. The paper analyses the concepts and scientific foundation of career guidance education and proposes a competency framework of career guidance education for Technology teachers at high school to develop career guidance education competency for teachers as well as improve effectiveness of career guidance education at schools.
