Abstract: In the twenty-first century, the strong development of the scientific and technological revolution has brought new achievements and challenges to every Vietnamese, especially the application of information technology to foreign language learning. Therefore, every foreign language learner needs to make every effort to keep up with the times and participate in the processes of ICT and the knowledge economy. This study was conducted to find out learners' opinions on appropriate information technology application activities to help learners improve their English learning autonomy abilities in the training program. The author designed a 52-item questionnaire to investigate the impact of information technology applications on students. This is a descriptive study using a mixed research method with two research tools: questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire consists of four parts using a 5-point scale and statistical software and data analysis (SPSS) version 20 to analyze and evaluate views on applying information technology to English learning autonomy. The questionnaire was completed by 149 students majoring in English Language 2nd-degree students at Can Tho University. This study uses a questionnaire to survey research subjects through Office Forms. The interview consisted of 10 questions completed by 12 participants. Suggestions are also proposed to improve the learning autonomy ability of foreign language students in terms of improving their level, and foreign language teachers are expected to help learners achieve the good application of technology. Misinformation aids in foreign language learning.
