CHATBOT SUPPORT MEDICAL CONSULTATION

Abstract

This thesis introduces HealthBot, a goal-oriented chatbot designed to revolutionize healthcare accessibility and patient support. Leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning, HealthBot enables users to interact proactively before seeking in-person medical consultations. The system, comprising Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Dialogue Management (DM), and Natural Language Generation (NLG), facilitates accurate patient classification, symptom management guidance, and insights on daily medications. By alleviating the workload on medical staff and empowering users with timely health information, HealthBot strives to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of healthcare services. This research delves into the chatbot's architecture, exploring the fusion of technology and healthcare to optimize patient care and contribute to a technologically advanced healthcare landscape.
