dc.description.abstractThe study investigates the frequency of vocabulary learning strategy use of twelfth grade students in a high school in Can Tho city, the most frequently used vocabularies learning strategies, and the perceptions of effectiveness of vocabularies learning strategies when they conquer the national high school graduation exam. Based on the 110 data collected from a questionaire of vocabulary learning strategies, the results showed that the determination strategy is the most common strategy used by almost students. Moreover, there was a relationship between vocabulary learning strategy and students’competence in their exam results. Pedagogical implications for teachers and students are also presented.vi_VN
