Abstract: The study aimed to investigate perceptions of factors influencing the oral presentation of English-majoring students at a university in Vietnam. This study employed a quantitative method through a questionnaire with a five-point Likert-type scale of agreement (1 = strongly disagree, 2 = disagree, 3 = neutral, 4 = agree, 5 = strongly agree) to collect data. There were 169 English-majoring students who took part in this study. The most influential ones were linguistic factors, followed by external factors, and the lightest one was psychological factors. Besides, understanding the factors students are facing may also enable teachers to help students develop effective learning strategies and improve their oral presentations.
