Factors influencing industrial cluster development: The case of Laos PDR

Abstract

This study explores the critical factors influencing industrial cluster development in Laos PDR, aiming to bridge the notable gap in existing literature and enhance policy formulation for economic growth. The research employs a qualitative methodology, analyzing both primary data from interviews with key stakeholders and secondary data from existing reports and academic studies. The findings reveal that government policies, infra structure quality, and institutional strength are pivotal in fostering industrial cluster growth in Laos. The research highlights the importance of targeted governmental intervention and the strategic development of infrastructure and institutional quality to facilitate effective cluster development in emerging economies.
