BUILDING AN E-COMMERCE WEBSITE FOR DIGITAL CONTENT CREATORS

Abstract

This thesis presents the development of an e-commerce platform tailored for digital content creators, aimed at simplifying the process of monetizing and distributing digital goods. The platform, inspired by existing solutions like Gumroad, provides a user-friendly interface and robust functionality to cater to the needs of both creators and customers. Designed with modern web technologies, the system integrates Pocketbase as the backend server and Vue.js for a dynamicand responsive frontend. Key features of the platform include streamlined product listings, and intuitive user management. By leveraging these technologies, the platform ensures high performance, scalability, and an engaging user experience. This thesis discusses the design, implementation, and deployment of the system, highlighting its potential to empower creators by offering an accessible and efficient e-commerce solution. The project outcomes include a fully functional e-commerce website that bridges the gap between creators and their audiences, demonstrating the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed architecture in addressing the uniquerequirements of digital content commerce.
