Abstract: In this article, four different stable benzaminium salts were synthesized from the one-pot reaction of oxyacetic acid with aminothiophenol or aminophenol derivatives under Vilsmeier- Haack conditions in the presence of triethylamine in acetonitrile at reflux. The structure of the new compounds was confirmed based on their spectral data from ¹H NMR and ¹³C NMR and elemental analysis.
