Abstract: The video game industry is now one of the biggest industries in the world. With numerous products releases annually. For Vietnam, the video game industry is still visible but not strong enough, due to the lack of domestic content focus. Such as graphics, music and most importantly, storytelling. Story is the essential aspect in the new generation of video games, story brings emotion for players, enthuse them with ideas, with dramas, … There are many ways to apply a storytelling method, but the most used and easiest for many video games is to apply dialogue. Nevertheless, when graphics get the support from software like Photoshop, Blender or Aseprite, dialogue has nothing much to support it. And Unity, one of the most popular game engines in the world, still does not have any built-in component to implement dialogue into a video game creation. Therefore, from the concern above, this thesis introduces a video game development framework for dialogue creation and management which will support Unity game developers for creating and designing story and conversation for their products. In this thesis, users will know what a dialogue is, how the dialogue system work, the tools and technology to store and use a dialogue, the methods of dialogue editor, dialogue to video game integration through C# Script components in Unity and the recommendation for dialogue UI and video game dialogue interaction logic.
