HABIT TRACKER MOBILE APPLICATION

Abstract

In modern life, maintaining positive habits and managing time effectively are essential needs for many people. However, sustaining daily habits often faces challenges due to the lack of suitable support tools. Therefore, the project “MyHabits – Habit tracker mobile application” was developed to address this is sue. Built on the Android platform and operating entirely offline, "MyHabits" allows users to use it anytime, anywhere without needing an internet connection. The application provides key features, including: Habit Creation, enabling users to setspecific times and days to maintain habits; Reminder Notifications, sending alerts to remind users to perform habits at the scheduled times; Progress Tracking, featuringcheckbox that allow users to update their daily habit completion status; andStatistical Reporting, displaying habit information and visual progress charts tohelpusers easily review their habit performance. In terms of technology, the application is built using the Java programminglanguage on Android Studio and employs SQLite as the local database for storinginformation. The system is optimized for stability, high performance, andauserfriendly interface. In addition to the main features, “MyHabits” incorporates auxiliary functions to enhance user experience and improve usability. The application not only helps users maintain personal discipline but also improves their lifestyle and optimizes their time effectively. This project holds significant practical value and serves as a testament to the application of technology inaddressing everyday life challenges.
