BUILDING A WEBSITE TO MANAGE AND SELL EVENT TICKETS

Abstract

The "Event Management and Ticketing System" is designed to provideanintegrated solution for managing events and selling tickets online. This systemaimsto address the increasing demand for large-scale event organization, offeringusersaseamless platform for discovering, booking, and sharing experiences of variousevents. By utilizing a user-friendly interface, it allows users to easily searchfor events, purchase tickets, and engage with event-related content. Administrators, on the other hand, manage event details, ticket sales, orders, and user interactions, ensuring smooth operations of the system. The project is built using Python and Django, providing both front-endandback-end functionalities. It includes features such as secure ticket purchasing, eventcategorization, and real-time order tracking. The system also allows users toleavefeedback, share their event experiences, and interact with the platform's diversecommunity. Despite its successful implementation, the system currently has limitations, including incomplete coverage of real-world use cases and certain user and admin functionality constraints. Future development will focus on adding a chatbot for support, enhancing the social network features for sharing event experiences, improving the user interface, and adding more analytical tools for administrators. This project successfully creates an accessible and comprehensive platform fore vent management and ticketing, offering flexibility for users and efficient management tools for administrators, but there is still room for further optimization and feature expansion.
