Abstract: | The thesis, titled "Building an Online Cosmetic Shop", is designed to support four user groups: unregistered customers, registered customers, staff, and administrators. The system facilitates customers in accessing cosmetic products and related items by providing features such as browsing product categories, viewing product details, exploring best-seller recommendations, and searching for specific products. For registered customers, additional functionalities include adding items to a cart, placing orders, tracking order status, reviewing products, and managing personal accounts. Recognizing challenges in managing multi-branch business information, a comprehensive administration website has been developed to enable administrators to manage customer data, branch details, product categories, products, suppliers, purchase orders, payment methods, import/export invoices, sales reports, and access permissions. The system also incorporates features such as automatic branch selection based on proximity and stock availability to optimize shipping costs. Additionally, it ensures real-time inventory updates for each branch, accounting for scenarios such as order fulfillment, order cancellations, or stock replenishment. The system is built using Spring Boot, Thymeleaf, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and the MySQL database management system. |
