SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract

In today’s fast-developing world, people are becoming more and more busy with their work and personal responsibilities. The demands of modern life often leave individuals with limited time to focus on additional tasks, such as transporting their children to and from school. Commuting itself can take up a significant amount of time due to the growing density of vehicles on the road, particularly during peak hours. This not only adds stress but also increases the likelihood of delays and disruptions. For families with young children, the daily routine of pick-up and dropoff becomes even more challenging. To address the mentioned issues, the School Bus Transportation Management System was developed to make the management and transportation of students easier and more efficient. The system consists of two main components: a mobile application for teachers, a mobile application for parents. The mobile applications for teachers and parents are built using Flutter with the database is developed with MongoDB as the database management system. The entire system will leverage cloud services, making it easier to develop and optimize in the future. With the technologies used and the implemented functionalities, the system has been completed to a high standard and is practical for real world application.
