Abstract: The impact of country regulations, energy consumption, and urbanization on foreign direct investment (FDI) flows in 10 ASEAN countries, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Timor Leste. Due to insufficient data from Myanmar for this research, I will not conduct the research in Myanmar and instead use TimorLeste. Based on this, the research aims to propose policy implications to help these countries recognize the importance of country regulations, energy nsumption, and urbanization, as well as to identify effective solutions to enhance positive impacts and mitigate negative effects on FDI inflows.
