Abstract

Nguyen Van Binh Book Street is a vibrant cultural destination that attracts a large number of visitors due to its diverse and dynamic activities. This space is ideal for cultural and artistic events and serves as a gathering place for book enthusiasts. Plans are underway to expand this model to other locations, raising the question of whether new book streets can achieve the same level of effectiveness and appeal as the current one. This study employs user surveys and on-site observations to evaluate the role and effectiveness of Nguyen Van Binh Book Street in public life, contributing to the improvement of the urban public environment. Findings indicate that this space not only meets the demand for reading but also fosters an environment for cultural exchange, entertainment, and learning. With the potential to develop into a diverse cultural space, the book street should focus on diversifying its functions, protecting green spaces, and integrating physical activities to better meet community needs.
