Abstract: | The role of women in many fields has always been encouraged by countries to develop, towards gender equality. The study examines trade and the role of women in the public sector in developing countries. Using the Pooled OLS research model, the content refers to a number of developing countries including Myanmar, Georgia, Brazil, Vietnam, and South Africa with data collected by annual frequency in the period 2004-2023. The study shows that technology exports (medium and high) and imports of commercial services are statistically significant in influencing the role held by women in parliament. Exports of trade services do not show statistical significance in affecting seats held by women in parliament. |
