This study presents an evaluation of the deformation behavior of soil cement column systems for ground improvement using a dynamic model with surface roughness IRI = 2 (based on research results of [15]) under Vietnamese conditions. Both analytical methods (according to TCVN 9403:2012 [1]) and the Finite Element Method (FEM) in Plaxis 2D were applied to analyze the effects of static and dynamic loads on the displacement of soil cement column systems. The results show that dynamic loads significantly increase settlement compared to static loads, with displacement increasing from 9.8 cm under static loading to 12.3 cm under dynamic loading, representing a 25.51% increase. This clearly demonstrates the significant impact of dynamic loads on the settlement reduction performance of soil cement column systems. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the role of road surface roughness and design live loads in contributing to increased deformation under dynamic loading conditions. This topic presents potential for future experimental research.vi_VN
