The impact of business environment barriers on the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in China

Abstract

To analyze the impact of business environment barriers on the operational performance of enterprises in China, using two key indicators, total annual sales and revenue per employee, as measures of performance. The study also aims to propose policy recommendations that may help improve institutional conditions and enhance business efficiency in the context of a transitional economy.
