Aluminum alloy 7075, recognized for its excellent mechanical properties and high strength-to-weight ratio, is extensively used in various industrial applications. A non-contact measurement device, 3D digital image correlation (DIC) was employed to capture the plastic deformation on the surface of tensile specimens. A series of tension tests were performed on high-strength aluminum alloy 7075 at room temperature to study anisotropic plastic deformation at rolling direction (RD), diagonal direction (DD), and transverse direction (TD). A Hill's 1948 quadratic anisotropic yield criterion was examined for describing AA7075.vi_VN
