Abstract: In modern computing environments, centralized log storage systems face significant challenges related to data integrity, security, and trust. This thesis proposes a decentralized application (DApp) that integrates InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) and blockchain technologies to securely store and verify system logs. The proposed system stores log files on IPFS for distributed storage, while their cryptographic hashes are recorded on a blockchain through a smart contract to ensure immutability and verifiability. The DApp was developed using Truffle for smart contract implementation and React frameworks for frontend interaction. The results show that the system can detect any modification in log data and verify its authenticity without dependence on a centralized authority. The study concludes that combining IPFS and blockchain provides an effective and reliable approach to secure system log management.
