This study determines displacement angles in Seam I (12) of the Mong Duong coal mine using an integrated approach that combines borehole stratigraphy, geomechanical modeling, and field monitoring. Key parameters, including geological conditions, compressive and tensile strength, and internal friction angle, were analyzed to estimate displacement angles based on the similar region theory. A geomechanical model incorporating elastic modulus, geological strength index, and cohesion was developed to calculate displacement and deformation angles. Surface monitoring stations provided real-time field data for validation. The results indicate displacement angles of 42° derived from field monitoring, 47° from the geomechanical model, and 50° from borehole stratigraphic analysis. These findings provide valuable insights for improving mining safety and optimizing underground operations under similar geological conditions. The combined methodological approach is particularly effective for mines lacking monitoring stations, where borehole stratigraphic analysis and the similar region method can be applied to determine deformation and displacement angles for safe and efficient exploitation.vi_VN
