Abstract: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provide numerous advantages, including the ability to collect, store, manage, analyze, visualize, and update data while integrating diverse data types from multiple sources. An urban technical infrastructure database functions as an information system designed to manage, store, and utilize data related to urban infrastructure facilities. This study aims to develop an urban technical infrastructure database for Van Chuong Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi City. The research methodology includes extracting relevant datasets from the national geographic database, collecting and standardizing records and documents, conducting field investigations, and editing thematic maps. The results comprise database groups derived from the national geographic database, supplemented by related documents and field survey data, and integrated into a comprehensive urban technical infrastructure database. The proposed database provides a valuable foundation for urban infrastructure management, supporting effective supervision, public asset protection, and sustainable urban planning.
