Abstract

In the context of rapid digital transformation in the pet care industry, thedemand for intelligent platforms that support personalized services has becomeincreasingly significant. This thesis focuses on the design and development ofPetCareHub, a comprehensive web-based platform that provides pet care servicessuch as appointment booking, vaccination, grooming, product purchasing, andacommunity for sharing pet care knowledge. A key contribution of the system is the integration of an artificial intelligence model for dog breed recognition from images, allowinguserstoupload pet photos and obtain breed prediction results. Based on the identifiedbreed, the system automatically recommends appropriate services, products, andcare solutions tailored to each dog breed, thereby enhancing personalizationanduser experience. The platform is developed using a client–server architecture, withthe backend implemented in NestJS and a relational database, and the frontendbuilt with React. Additional features include role-based access control, content management, and online payment integration. The results demonstratethat PetCareHub is a practical, scalable, and effective solution for intelligent pet careservice management.
