BUILDING AN E-COMMERCE WEBSITE FOR COMPUTERS AND COMPONENTS WITH A CUSTOMER SUPPORT CHATBOT

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology and e-commerce has significantly transformed consumer shopping behaviors. More customers are choosing to purchase computers and hardware components online due to convenience, product diversity, and the ability to compare prices easily. However, Can Tho, December 18, 2025 Student Ho Kim Trong iii most current e-commerce websites still lack real-time consulting features, making it difficult for users—especially those without technical knowledge—to choose a suitable computer configuration. To address this issue, this thesis presents the topic: “Developing an Ecommerce Website for Selling Computers and Hardware Components Integrated with an AI Chatbot for Customer Support.” The goal is to build a modern and user-friendly platform with core functions such as product management, shopping cart, online ordering, user management, and order tracking. In addition, the project focuses on integrating an AI-powered chatbot utilizing natural language processing (NLP) techniques to recommend suitable computer configurations based on user needs (studying, office work, graphic design, gaming, etc.), answer questions, support product search, and improve customer experience. The result of the project is a fully functional e-commerce website with an intuitive interface, efficient management features, and an intelligent support chatbot. The system aims to provide a convenient shopping experience, enhance customer satisfaction, and help businesses optimize their consulting process.
