BUILDING A HEALTHCARE APPOINTMENT BOOKING WEBSITE

Abstract

This thesis presents the design and development of an Online Healthcare Appointment Booking Website, a web-based medical platform that enables patients to search for doctors and hospitals and schedule appointments conveniently. The system supports user authentication, role-based access control, appointment management, and integrates an AI consultation module powered by the Llama 3.1 model with a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework to deliver intelligent medical specialty recommendations. Built on a client–server architecture using Node.js, Express, Vue 3, and MySQL, the platform demonstrates scalability, maintainability, and practicality for modern digital healthcare systems. Luận văn trình bày việc thiết kế và phát triển website đặt lịch hẹn khám chữa bệnh trực tuyến, một nền tảng y tế trên nền web giúp bệnh nhân tìm kiếm bác sĩ, bệnh viện và đặt lịch hẹn thuận tiện. Hệ thống hỗ trợ xác thực người dùng, phân quyền theo vai trò, quản lý lịch hẹn và tích hợp module tư vấn AI sử dụng mô hình Llama 3.1 kết hợp RAG để gợi ý chuyên khoa phù hợp. Ứng dụng được xây dựng theo kiến trúc client–server với backend sử dụng Node.js và Express, frontend sử dụng Vue 3, cơ sở dữ liệu MySQL, thể hiện tính khả thi, khả năng mở rộng và bảo trì cho các hệ thống y tế số hiện đại.
