DEVELOPING A WEBSITE FOR BOARDING HOUSE MANAGEMENT

Abstract

This thesis project focuses on developing a website for boarding house management to help landlords manage rooms, tenants, and receive notifications from tenants more easily. The main problem addressed is that many boarding houses still use manual methods, which make it difficult to store information, track issues, and communicate efficiently. The system is developed by analysing user needs and building a webbased application using React for the user interface, Node.js and Express for the server side, and MySQL for data storage. The website allows landlords to manage room and tenant information, receive notifications about room issues, and monitor basic services in one place. The key results demonstrate that the system improves management accuracy and operational efficiency. In conclusion, this website provides a simple and effective solution for boarding house management.
