Abstract: Đề tài “Nghiên cứu và xây dựng framework hỗ trợ phát triển ứng dụng quy mô lớn dựa trên kiến trúc microservices” tập trung vào việc xây dựng một framework dùng chung cho tầng backend nhằm chuẩn hóa các mối quan tâm kỹ thuật thường lặp lại trong quá trình phát triển ứng dụng quy mô lớn dựa trên kiến trúc microservices. The thesis “Design and Development of a Framework for Building Large-Scale Applications Using Microservices Architecture” focuses on building a reusable backend framework to standardize technical concerns that frequently recur in the development of large-scale applications based on microservices architecture. Instead of implementing these mechanisms separately in each service, the proposed LSF framework organizes them into reusable modules in order to improve consistency, reduce duplication, and better support development, testing, and system operations. Based on theoretical foundations of microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed system patterns, the study identifies a set of concerns suitable for frameworkization, including event envelope, outbox, reservation and quota, saga, observability, and several supporting infrastructure-related components. The framework is implemented in Java, Spring Boot, and Maven using a multi-module structure, and is then integrated into an e-commerce verification system to evaluate its practical applicability for large-scale applications involving distributed processing and resource contention. The experimental section focuses on representative scenarios, including successful order processing, failure with compensation, timeout under heavy load, recovery after service restart, anti-oversell under concurrent load, and burst traffic combined with draining pending outbox records. The results show that the framework effectively supports distributed workflow coordination, reliable event publishing, limited-resource protection, and runtime evidence collection for system observation and validation. Overall, the thesis demonstrates that building a reusable framework layer for backend development of large-scale applications based on microservices architecture is a feasible and practical approach. The proposed framework also shows potential for adaptation to other domains that involve distributed processing and resource contention. Keywords: large-scale applications, microservices architecture, framework, event-driven architecture, outbox pattern, reservation and quota, saga, observability.
