| Abstract: | Môi trường mạng hiện nay đang đối mặt với tình trạng tràn ngập các luồng thông tin sai lệch. The online environment is currently inundated with streams of misinformation. This issue goes beyond merely creating informational noise; it directly manipulates public opinion, leading to flawed judgments and decisions in real life. As the line between fact and rumor becomes increasingly blurred, cultivating a skeptical mindset and the ability to proactively filter information has become absolutely essential. Addressing this pressing issue, this project aims to convey the “verify before believing" mindset through the format of a 2D pixel game. Moving away from dry, theoretical messaging, the project allows users to engage directly with the core message. Players take on the role of the protagonist, utilizing an illumination mechanic to expose deceptive illusions created by a mysterious organization. Through a journey of combat and collecting “Fragments of Truth” – aided by their companion, Drone AI – players gradually cultivate the habit of verifying sources and analyzing data before accepting information. The project was executed through a series of sequential stages. The process began with conceptualizing a detailed script, creating UI/UX wireframes, and sketching user flows, followed by graphic design, programming using the GDevelop platform, and building a landing page on itch.io for the game's release. The result is an entertaining game that helps convey the mindset of “verify before believing”. It helps players develop critical thinking reflexes and cultivates the habit of always questioning and verifying sources before absorbing any information online.
