Theo phân tích mới công bố của Công ty nghiên cứu thị trường hàng đầu thế giới là IHS Markit, đến năm 2021 nhu cầu metanol sẽ vượt quá 95 triệu tấn. Một lĩnh vực nhu cầu mới và phát triển nhanh đối với metanol là sản xuất olefin từ metanol bằng công nghệ MTO đã đẩy nhanh tốc độ tăng trưởng tiêu thụ metanol trên thế giới.	vi_VN
