Celebrating Literature and Poetry at the Vietnamese International Poetry Festival

Abstract

From February 16 to 20, I was privileged to attend the 4th International Conference Promoting Vietnamese Literature and the 3rd International Vietnamese Poetry Festival. About 200 writers and poets from more than 50 countries and I were hosted by the Vietnam Writers Association for a week-long celebration of writing and poetry. I know I can speak for all conference attendees when I thank the Vietnam Writers Association, the Hanoi People's Committee, and the Vietnamese people in general for their great generosity in sharing their Iiterary traditions and country with us for this wonderful event.
