As one of the most famous four painting villages in Vietnam (Đông Hồ in Bắc Ninh; Hàng Trống and Kim Hoàng in Hanoi; Sình in Huế), Đông Hồ village has kept and conserved until now a large number of engravings with ancient patterns. Moreover, the number of Đông Hồ engravings and prints also demonstrates an interchange and influence of these painting lines. Đông Hồ heritage painting shows the folk aesthetics and concepts of the ancient Vietnamese people. It can be considered an encyclopedia of Vietnamese life.vi_VN
