Author was writing this piece in the last week of a twelve week creative exchange which has seen author travel from my home in Western Australia to spend twelve weeks living and writing in Hanoi. The visit, tunded through an Australian organisation, Asialink Arts, and its partners, is part of a programme aimed at tostering the creative practices of artists of all forms, and relationships between artists and art organisations in Australia and Asia. As author near the end of the residency, it is important to reflect on its value, not just for author, but for my hosts and the goals of Asialink, who made it possible.vi_VN
