dc.description.abstractFrom the leaves of Stixis suaveolens (Roxb.), ten compounds were isolated and elucidated chemical structures by using combined methods. Their structures were identified as (±)-5-methoxylariciresinol(1), (7S, 8R, 8R')-5,5'-dimethoxylariciresinol (2), (+)-dehydrodiconiferyl alcohol (3), (+)-dehydrodiconiferyl alcohol-4-O-β-D-glucoside (4), (7R,8R)-threo-guaiacylglycerol-8-O-4'-sinapyl ether 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (5), 3-hydroxy-2 {4-[(1E)-3-hydroxyprop-1-en-1-yl]-2 methoxyphenoxy} propyl β-D-glucopyranoside (6), coniferin (7), syringin (8), Z-coniferin (9), and dihydrosyringin (10) by comparison of their NMR, MS data with those of published literature.vi_VN
