dc.description.abstractThe deflection of the turbine-generator rotor (TGR) due to out-of-balance and other force was shown out by analyzing its vibration behavior at high speed. The magnitude of deflection increased in proportion to the TGR vibration. Determination of the internal stresses of the TGR was very necessary. Because, while the TGR was spinning, the radial and hoop stresses of the TGR would increase when the centrifugal force was applied. These stresses could affect the dynamic characteristics of the TGR. In this paper, the internal stresses of a large TGR were analyzed based on its analysis data of lateral vibration.vi_VN
