The present study attempts to examine the causal nexus between industrialization, C0₂ emissions and economic growth in Vietnam using the ARDL approach. The study results exhibit a long-run relationship between C0₂ emissions, economic growth and industrialization in Vietnam. The empirical results confirm that C0₂ emissions influ- ences industrialization and economic growth in the long run, implying that higher rate of economic growth and industrialization is driven by consumption demand for energy in the economy. Further, the study detects causation that exists from economic growth to C0₂ emissions and industrialization to C0₂ emissions to in the short run.vi_VN
