dc.description.abstract | Hydantoin compounds tagged 3-(3,3-diethylureido)-N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2,4-dioxoimi dazolidine-l carbothioamide (3a) and N-(4-aminophenyl)-3-(3,3-diethylurcido)-2,4-dioxoimidazolidine-1-carbothioamide (3d) were studied for their ability to inhibit mild Steel corrosion in 0.5 M MCI using gravimetric, potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance techniques. Various thermodynamic parameters for the adsorption of these inhibitors 01 mild Steel was computed and discussed. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis were carried out to characterize the surface film. | vi_VN |
