Abstract: | Đông Sơn bronze drums, also known as "Heger I drums", are among the most important archaeological artifacts to have been found in Southern China and Southeast Asia in the past 100 years. Nowadays, many ethnic groups in these two regions still use various drums, clearly descended from the Đông Son drums, in traditional rituals and festivals. Some regard them as ethnic symbols or as parts of their precious cultural heritage. |
