The fermentation medium of Paecilomyces sp. P1 was optimized to yield the maximual chitinase. In this study, we used the design of optimum multifactorial experiments Plackett-Burman to estimate effects factors on chitinase production. As the result, five factors: the concentration of chitin substrate, glucose, pepton, K₂HPO₄ and the ratio Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺ were the niost effective.vi_VN
