Abstract: At present, the need of monitoring moisture and temperature is very’ highly for many applications of data center such as temperature balancing, cool food storage, etc. And especially that is the development of wireless nodes for Internet of Things (loT) system, the need of a wireless sensors network is designed and implemented for monitoring of humidity and temperature in environment. In this paper, we propose a novel design and implementation of a sensor node for the wireless sensor network (WSN) for monitoring the humidity and temperature in small area. This design is based on IEEE 802.15.4 standard, with humidity and temperature sensor to acquire and monitor data of moisture in air environment, machines and air-conditioners. In addition, the performance of network, battery life, power consumption of the design is being considered in our designs. As the result, our design reached the best duty cycle for optimizing the lifetime of sensor node for every air environmental information monitor application.
