dc.description.abstractPhytochemical investigation of the aerial pairs of Leonotis nepetifolia (L.) R.Br. (Lamiaceae) yielded five known iridoid glycosides including loganin (1), loganic acid (2), shanzhiside methyl ester (3), Sweroside (4) and picconioside I (5), along with a benzenoid evofolin B (6). The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR experiments. All of the obtained compounds were evaluated for α-glucosidase inhibitory activity, in which compounds 1-5 show moderate activity.vi_VN
