Abstract: This study aims at investigating influence of an cold-bonded Class F fly ash based artificial lightweight aggregate (ALWA) on the properties of the ecological unfired brick with high amount of binary industrial by-product mixture of slag and flue gas desulfurization gypsum (FDG). The ALWA was used to replace fine aggregate (FA) of the reference brick at four ratios of 25:75, 50:50, 75:25 and 100:0 by volume. Various properties of bricks such as unit weight, flowability, compressive strength, and water absorption were investigated.
