The article studies the thoughts of Rodion Raskolnikov - the protagonist in Dostoevsky’s novel named "Crime and punishment" in various Vietnamese translations. It is the thoughts of Rodion Raskolnikov that forces the protagonista man of good nature to commit a serious conscience-related crime. On the basis of citing examples, the authors contrasts three translations by three different translators with the original work, as well as provide analyses of and evaluation on the transformation of Rodion Raskolnikov’s thoughts. Thence, they drew conclusions on the translators’ contributions as well as difficulties encountered during translation process.vi_VN
