Four spirostanol glycosides, dioscin (1), asperin (2), degalactotigonin (3), and soladulcoside A (4) were isolated from the whole plants of Solanum nigrum. Their Chemical structures were elucidated by analyses of their ESI-MS, NMR spectral data, and comparison with those reported in the literature. This is the first report on the isolation of dioscin and asperin Rom S. nigrum.vi_VN
