The Impacts of Condotels on Khanh Hoa’s Tourism

Abstract

Hotel apartments - condotels (hereinafter referred as condotels) are a type of resort real estate that is gradually emerging into a development trend in Vietnam’s tourism market in recent years. The development of this accommodation type brings tourism a new development direction. This paper presents some aspects of condotel development in Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa in particular, as well as assesses its impacts on Khanh Hoa’s tourism industry. Then, the authors propose some Solutions to reduce the negative impacts of condotel development on Khanh Hoa tourism in the imminent periods.
