Abstract: Communicating coverage of automatic BPH light trap surveillance network characterizes how well an area is monitored or tracked by automatic light traps. Connectivity is an important required that shows how nodes in a automatic BPH light trap surveillance network (BSNET) can effectively communicate. Some areas in the deployment region are more important than other areas and need to be covered. In this paper, we propose a new approach based hexagonal cellular automata to find the automatic light trap node distribution. This approach are ensure the deployment region that maximizes the coverage area of BSNET, and preserve connectivity between nodes provided.
