dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, bar codes have become commonplace in the production and distribution of goods in companies. At Can Tho University, the school has applied barcodes on each student card. Cards are used to track student attendance and parking. However, scanning the code requires specialized equipment, which is time consuming and costly. Telephones are more common and more common. Therefore, the topic "Building a system to check students by barcode": scanning with attendance applications on Android phones with camera support is a reasonable method, less expensive and easier to use. In the process of researching the thesis, I used the Java programming language on Android Studio, Android SDK was integrated into Android, with the help of Zxing library, I could use the camera of my phone to read the barcode above. Then save the user's real-time data using the cloud-based database service - Firebase. The main features of the application are to create student lists, set events, and scan barcodes above.
