Developing MICE tourism in the Red River Delta and Northeast Coast Region

Abstract

MICE is a modern type of tourism and an important driving force of the development of the global economy as it can generate additional income for the countries and cities where MICE activities are hosted. In this article, using field research methods combined with using secondary data from the Hanoi Department of Tourism, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam General Statistics Office ... the author will focus on the current potential and situation of MICE tourism in the Red River Delta and Northeast Coast, then give some suggestions in the development of these potential tourism type.
