dc.description.abstractThe problem of high-level water during flood season has caused traffic jams in the cities, damaged the infrastructure and taken away many lives of people in Central Vietnam. The sewer systems have been built up to minimize the damage. Yet they could not completely solve the problem as there were still weaknesses in the systems regarding to nearby residents’ safety. To optimize the sewer systems’ performance, I came up the idea of building an object observation system integrating to automatic or self-operating sewer and building an android application to manage and control the sewers. By applying the knowledge of Android programming, user interface designing, MQTT protocol and Socket protocol, the result of study is a product that can be apply to bring the mobility and useful to user. In addition, by using a pretrained model and a supporting library for YOLOv4 in Python, an alerting system will be implemented into the Raspberry Pi with Pi Camera module. This thesis will propose an alerting module when there is any object is going near to a working sewer, a product of mobile application play a role as the bridge between user and the management system. The manager can then manage human resources, sewer, monitor and control the sewer via the android application in real-time.vi_VN
